ABOUT ME

From a young age I have always had a love for animals — both learning about and taking care of them. As a small child I grew up with a passion for livestock and would spend time on a small holding helping with lambing and kidding - out in all kinds of weather and at all times of the day & night. As the agricultural show seasons started I used to help by taking the goats to shows, often coming away with a Junior Handler rosette.

In 2015 I joined The Crossings Veterinary Centre in Downham Market as their Saturday Girl and helped out during the school holidays. After finishing my A-Levels in 2016, I left Sixth Form and immediately joined the Vets full time as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse. I spent a year undergoing in-house training before starting my Student Veterinary Nurse course at Dick White Referrals in Six Mile Bottom in September 2017. After several years of blood (literally), sweat (again, literally!) and tears (you get the drift!), in December 2020, delayed thanks to COVID, I had managed to pass all of my exams and became a Qualified Veterinary Nurse. I then went on to gaining Registered Veterinary Nurse status in February 2021 before becoming Practice Manager at The Crossings by the age of 23.

I pride myself on the high-standard of care and services that I offer and I always aim to offer a professional yet personal service. No job is considered too big or too small and I am always keen to learn from new experiences should any arise. I really look forward to meeting you and your four-legged friends soon!
